Imagine the joy of seeing Mickey and his friends all decked out in their spooktacular Halloween costumes, ready to enchant and entertain. And here’s the best part – both kids and adults are invited to join in on the fun by wearing full costumes (a rare treat indeed). Be captivated by the spellbinding performance of the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular!, a show that will leave you in awe of the wickedly talented cast. As the night sky illuminates with bursts of vibrant colors, don’t miss the spectacular Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show, a mesmerizing display that will ignite your sense of wonder. And of course, the Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, filled with spooky surprises and beloved Disney characters, will set the stage for an unforgettable evening.

Amidst the festivities, seize the opportunity to capture precious memories with your favorite characters through delightful photo opportunities. Get ready for a night of thrills, chills, and pure Disney magic!

MINNIE’S HALLOWEEN DINE AT HOLLYWOOD & VINE

Character dining is happening at Hollywood Studios at Hollywood & Vine on select dates until November 7th! You can now celebrate Halloween with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy in their festive Halloween costumes at the restaurant.

Please keep in mind that this dining experience is very popular, and reservations are required. To start, you’ll need a valid park ticket and Park Pass reservation to Hollywood Studios. Then, you can make a reservation for the restaurant on the My Disney Experience app or the main Walt Disney World website.

SPOOKY & DELICIOUS TREATS AROUND DISNEY WORLD

The incredible food and tasty treats don’t stop there! Guests will find an assortment of Halloween-inspired sweets and drinks at each of the parks throughout the season. We’ve loved stopping by Sleepy Hollow in Magic Kingdom for a Foolish Mortal Funnel Cake, Block & Hans in Epcot for a Spiked Frozen Apple Pie (drink), Restaurantosaurus in Animal Kingdom for a Maleficent Cupcake, or Rosie’s All-American Café for Witch’s Hat Mousse in past years. And, we can’t wait to see the festive food this year for Halloween! One thing is for sure, we’re never disappointed with all of the options.

If you consider yourself a foodie or know someone who does, you also won’t want to miss Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival while you’re in town! It’s running until November 18th, 2023 – so you’ll have plenty of time for Halloween fun and to go on a tasting tour across 6 continents.

Universal Studios Florida - Halloween Horror Nights

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando

If you’ve never been to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando, this is the year you should add it to your list! This annual event takes place on select nights from September 1st to November 4th and features some of the best screams and haunts in the area. You can expect 10 haunted houses, 5 scare zones, 2 live shows, and plenty of scares throughout the park.

As we write this, we can’t help but reminiscence about the themes from last year that included Halloween with Michael Myers, The Horrors of Blumhouse with an evil kidnapper from The Black Phone, and Universal Monsters: Legends Collide featuring The Wolf Man, Dracula, and The Mummy! You’ll find new themes this year like:

  • Try to Escape the Curse of Vecna (inspired by Stranger Things)
  • An Evil Reawakened (inspired by the Exorcist)
  • Step Into the World of The Last of Us (inspired by hit TV show The Last of Us)
  • Chucky’s Back for Even More Carnage (inspired by Chucky: Ultimate Kill Count)
  • Four Universal Monsters. One New Nightmare.
  • And more!

One thing to note is that this event is dark and can be scary for younger kids, and it’s typically recommended for mature teens and adults.

Seaworld Halloween Spooktacular Celebration

Seaworld Spooktacular

The kid-friendly SeaWorld Spooktacular runs on select days from September 16th to October 31st this year! This daytime event offers fun surprises, trick-or-treating opportunities (with the purchase of a reusable bag), the ever-so-popular Sesame Street Halloween Parade, and more for the entire family.

To make the experience even more fun, costumes are highly recommended for both adults and kids. They offer a “Spooktacular Breakfast” upgrade with Count von Count (the famous vampire Muppet), and even the chance to meet a mermaid in the Key West area.

Howl-O-Scream at Seaworld Orlando

You’ll find a completely different atmosphere at SeaWorld during the Halloween season when the sun goes down! On select nights from September 8th to October 31st, the Howl-O-Scream will have your pulse-pounding at this fun (yet terrifying) event. There’s literally nowhere to hide as the scares are everywhere at SeaWorld with their roaming haunts throughout the park.

On top of this, you’ll find 5 haunted houses, 7 scare zones, live shows, and roller coasters to ride in the dark. This event is intended for a mature audience and contains intense adult content (like blood, gore, and violence), so please plan accordingly.

Legoland Florida Halloween Festivities

Brick or Treat Presents Monster Party at Legoland

Fun for the entire family, LEGOLAND’s signature Halloween event is better than ever this year! On select weekends from September 16th to October 29th, you’ll find an all-new show lineup, never-before-seen exclusive LEGO characters, a costume parade, trick-or-treating opportunities, and plenty of live entertainment here. There will even be limited-time attractions and an interactive dance party to enjoy. Don’t forget your costumes!

What’s even better? The Halloween festivities are included with park admission and select tickets!
