Does Solterra Resort have a lazy river?

This is the first question we usually receive. And, the answer is yes! As you will see from the photo above, this resort community has a lazy river available and is open to all guests renting a vacation home in Solterra.

What amenities are available at the Solterra Resort Clubhouse?

When you stay at Solterra Resort, you gain access to the community clubhouse and an extensive amount of recreational amenities! It is the spitting image of what we imagine when we think of Orlando Resorts with water parks!

When you want to take a break from playing with the kids in the lazy river, you can head over to one of the cabanas or Cafe Sol, the poolside cafe and bar featuring a full menu of food and drinks. Plus, when you need to stay connected while taking in the Florida sun, you’ll find free wireless internet at the clubhouse.

What are the Solterra Resort Pool & Clubhouse Hours?

You’ll find the pool and clubhouse are both open as follows. However, keep in mind that this may change depending on the season or any restrictions in place at the time of your visit.

Clubhouse: 8am – 7pm
Main Pool: 8am – 11pm
Slide and Lazy River: 11am – 4pm
Fitness Center: 5am – 11pm

How far is Solterra Resort from Disney World?

The entrance to Disney World is only about 8 miles from Solterra Resort, and the drive should take somewhere between 10 to 35 minutes. We know that’s a decent difference, but it will depend on the time of day you’d like to be there and the traffic patterns. The length of time it will take to get to your preferred Disney park will also vary. For instance, Disney’s Magic Kingdom is about 14 miles from Solterra.

How far is Solterra Resort from Universal Studios?

Universal Studios is a bit further away, but not by much! This theme park is about 20.5 miles from Solterra Resort, and, like Disney, the time it takes to get there will vary. Depending on when you leave, you can expect the drive to take anywhere from 25 to 40 minutes.

And, if you’re interested in heading to other theme parks or area attractions in Orlando, you’re still moments away! For instance, SeaWorld Orlando is on the way to Universal from Solterra and takes about the same amount of time to drive.

Are there any restaurants near Solterra Resort?

If you’re looking for dining nearby Solterra Resort, you’ll find the top choice is typically Champions Gate. Here you will have a wide selection of options — from national favorites and fast food to ice cream and smoothies!

There are excellent choices for any meal of the day: breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a quick snack. The restaurants available include 4 Corners Tavern, Millers Ale House, Tijuana Flats, The Fish and Chip Shop, Chili’s Grill & Bar, Subway, McDonald’s, and Planet Smoothie.
