Disney World Throwback: Snears!

On this #ThrowbackThursday we’re reminiscing about Disney World’s announcement of the Mickey Mouse ear and snack combo; Snears! There isn’t a trip to WDW that’s complete without a tasty Mickey-themed snack… and you may as well do it fashionably, right? Check out the tweet below:

If you didn’t already know… it was an April Fools’ joke! It seemed fitting to share this funny memory today. After all, this year’s April Fool’s Day lands on #TBT. We remember being disappointed to find out these hands-free snacking accessories weren’t actually going to be a reality. It combined one of the most popular pieces of merchandise for guests, Mickey Mouse ears, and paired them with cups that can be filled with your favorite park snack. The blueprints certainly seemed realistic — deep and wide storage space, temperature-controlled holsters, and even a cushioned headband.

#2 Disney April Fools’ Day Prank: The Lilo and Stitch

If one thing is sure, April Fools’ Day brings out the prankster in all of us and Disney definitely knows how to do it right! That same year the main Disney Twitter feed asked followers to find the differences between two images from Lilo and Switch that were identical.
