Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf
You can find Pirate’s Cove mini golf courses throughout the country and their best course happens to be on International Drive! If you love the movie Pirates of the Caribbean, you’ll feel right at home — they have two 18-hole courses where you can explore the pirate life of sunken ships, dungeons, caves, and majestic waterfalls. The grounds are stunning, with lush Central Florida landscaping and vegetation.
Please note Pirate’s Cove in Lake Buena Vista has closed due to the State of Florida’s I-4 Beyond the Ultimate road project.
Hawaiian Rumble Adventure Golf
Hawaiian Rumble Adventure Golf is open 7 days a week and is located at Lake Buena Vista! If you already were thinking you’ll find tropical Hawaiian-themed courses here, then you would be absolutely right. Putt past dramatic waterfalls, palm trees, and their 50-foot volcano! If you like festive souvenirs, don’t forget to stop by the gift shop for unique trinkets. And, if you work up an appetite, grab a Cici’s pizza while you relax and take in the exquisite landscape. Lost Caverns Adventure Golf
While Lost Caverns is a little less well-known, this locally run course is right down the road from Universal Orlando Resort and has incredible reviews. This is a true adventure where you can discover rainforests, climb mountains, and go spelunking. There are two different courses to choose from and even a scavenger hunt you can participate in while playing golf! When you’re ready for a break, you can head over to play games in their arcade.
Hollywood Drive-in Golf
Does someone in your family love spooky themes and vintage horror films? Hollywood Drive-In Golf at Universal CityWalk is a must-do during your next Orlando vacation! This popular spot has two outrageously themed courses that are inspired by 1950’s era Universal horror movies. Encounter little green men, walk under a giant spider, traverse through cemeteries, and into the basement of a haunted house.
Even though it might sound a little scary, this is a family-friendly experience with a light and welcoming atmosphere. Not to mention, the courses have LED lighting and tons of special effects that make it fun to play during the day and after the sun goes down!
Gator Golf Adventure Park
What happens when you pair live gators and golf together? You get the most unique mini golf experience in Orlando situated conveniently on International Drive! Their course winds around a lagoon where you can observe hundreds of alligators from a very safe distance.
For those that want to learn more about the creatures that call this place home, you’ll find live shows available while you’re there. Check with Gator Golf Adventure Park directly to see the latest updates and any upcoming showtimes, which may be on hold due to Covid-19.
Putting Edge
Glow-in-the-dark mini golf in Orlando? This might just be the most memorable indoor putt-putt course in Orlando. Cool off during the summer months inside and be wowed through 18 holes of black-light magic with ocean, jungle, and outer space themes! The course is open late, so it offers a fantastic nighttime activity or the perfect place to cool off inside during the hot summer months. If the kids don’t want to play golf, they can play air hockey and claw machines at an on-site arcade.
Congo River Golf
There are multiple Congo River mini golf courses in Orlando — one is off of International Drive near Icon Park, another in Kissimmee, and the other in East Orlando. One of our favorite things about these courses are the “Congo Spinners” where you spin a wheel to give yourself a unique obstacle to overcome. You may need to hit the ball with your foot, or you may have to use your putter between your legs.
Congo River offers so much more than just mini golf! You will have opportunities to feed live gators, go gem mining, and play in their arcade! But, keep in mind each location is different with their offerings. For instance, the Kissimmee location offers paddle boat rides, while the I-Drive site has Ubanki Hoops (a twist on traditional basketball).
Mighty Jungle Golf
Mighty Jungle Golf is right down the street from Disney World’s Animal Kingdom in Kissimmee, so it’s the perfect course to wind down after you visit the park. This spot offers two renovated courses, each one containing beautiful animal statues, waterfalls, and gorgeous green foliage! If you want to stop for a snack, you can sit back in a shaded picnic area and gaze upon the grounds or head to the clubhouse to grab a memento from your visit. Voted best mini golf in Orlando by Orlando Weekly Magazine 2 years in a row, you won’t want to miss this wild and exotic adventure.
Bonanza Golf
Bonanza Golf is another course in Kissimmee, near Walt Disney World Resort offering championship miniature putt putt golf! If you’re coming to Orlando for your first time to Disney World, you should consider going to Bonanza so you can unwind after the theme parks. Bonanza has a mining theme that will transport you and your family back in time to the 19th century. Yet the course has modern attractions, including one of the largest waterfalls in an Orlando mini golf course.
Pirate’s Island
If you like Pirate’s Cove, you will love Pirate’s Island! Located in Kissimmee, the island offers many of the same features as the cove — but what distinguishes this pirate themed course is its lagoon. The holes lie on the perimeter of the lagoon, giving you great views of the water. You can even view a pirate ship with wooden cannons and tall masts.
