When you think of Epcot, do the fantastic festivals and events immediately come to mind? They do for us too! From the Festival of the Arts and the Festival of the Holidays to tasting new food and drinks from all over the world at Taste of Epcot Food & Wine Festival — the entire year is loaded with unbelievable experiences at this popular Disney park. But today, we’re here to provide you with a thorough guide to the 2022 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival!
This year the festival will officially return from March 2nd, 2022, to Independence Day (July 4th, 2022) — which gives you 125 days to relish the topiary Disney characters, landscaped gardens, exquisite examples of imaginative horticulture, and a magical opportunity to taste fare inspired from locations around the globe. The kiddos will most definitely adore Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration scavenger hunt, and food lovers in the fam will appreciate the Garden Graze, where they can try five unique menu items to receive a festival-exclusive treat.
No matter what you decide to do, we recommend grabbing a festival passport when you arrive at Epcot! These free brochures are handy to have and detail where everything is located, menus from the outdoor with dietary information, and more.

Incredible Epcot Flower and Garden Disney Character Topiaries and Exhibits
Epcot truly never looks any better than it does in the spring! Vibrant colors from the perfectly cultivated flowers and expansive gardens transform the entire park. The displays perfectly frame Spaceship Earth, and there are over a dozen enchanting specialty gardens between World Showcase and Future World (creating almost endless photo opportunities for your IG account)!
Fan favorites make an appearance every year like Mickey Mouse and crew, Kermit the Frog, Beauty and the Beast, Tinkerbell, and the most cherished cast members from The Lion King! But, it’s always fun to find new additions or see if a location has changed. We certainly can’t wait to see which topiaries and gardens will be on display in 2022! Can you?
Food to Try at the Outdoor Kitchens
Foodies rejoice! One of the best things about the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival is all the different types of foods and drinks to enjoy! While we’ve heard that there won’t be any new booths this year, there will be over 18 food booths available at the festival, and the complete list is below:
- Bauernmarkt — Germany: Bavarian bites and more can be found at this Farmer’s Market that offers a variety of köstlich (delicious) dishes! There have been warm strudels and potato pancakes to indulge in years past.

You’ll also find these year-round stops available during the festival: Refreshment Outpost, Refreshment Port, Funnel Cake, and Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company.
Budget tip for Epcot festivals: Love food as much as we do, but need to stay within a specific budget? A popular way to keep from overspending is to purchase a bracelet gift card from one of the gift shops and load it with the amount you want.
The Garden Rocks Concert Series
Live entertainment is back at the America Gardens Theatre within the American Adventure Pavilion! The Garden Rocks Concert Series will be returning this year after a 2-year hiatus and feature legends like The Guess Who, Rick Springfield, Mike DelGuidice (currently on tour with Billy Joel), Blue October, Don Felder from The Eagles, Berlin, Simple Plan, Plain White T’s and more.
If you want to ensure a spot at one of the concerts, Disney is offering a Garden Rocks Dining Package! This special deal provides a meal at one of the notable Epcot restaurants and a guaranteed seat at one of the performances on the day of your choosing. But, keep in mind it’s only available on select days and tickets need to be purchased.
